Our services don’t end after the evaluation. Families in our program can receive personalized support from a Care Sidekick™.

Consider them an extension of your care team – we help families navigate accessing services and getting connected to resources in their community. Together, we can work with you to find services in your area based on the physician’s recommendations. We want to be your ongoing support to help your child thrive.

How do I know if my child qualifies for Care Coordination Services?

Following the results visit, you will receive an email with additional information on next steps on care coordination. Some states require families to use their care coordination program, so our team will connect you to those resources when necessary.

How many times can I meet with my Care Sidekick*?

Families typically meet with their care sidekick once a month. They can also communicate with their care sidekick via phone and email for additional support.

What can I expect during my Care Sidekick appointment*?

You’ve received a diagnosis, whether it’s autism or a different diagnosis and now it’s time to start the physician recommended support services in your community! Care Sidekicks™ will narrow down options for you and help you find the closest providers to your home!  Your appointment will last approximately 30 minutes. During this time, your Care Sidekicks™ will review the physician’s recommendations, answer any questions, discuss local resources and help you navigate whichever resources you select. We recommend the primary caregiver(s) be present. Your kiddo is not required to be at this appointment but is welcome to join.

Don’t see your health insurance provider listed? Don’t get discouraged! We work with commercial insurance plans, TRICARE, traditional state Medicaid plans and managed care partners. We are constantly expanding our relationships as we grow. And, as a part of our process, our support team will review a child’s insurance benefits with their parent or guardian before the first appointment.
