Pediatrician

As You Are is seeking Physicians who are motivated to provide high quality, patient and family-centered care in a virtual care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in autism and other behavioral health and developmental disorders. We are seeking physicians who are motivated to provide high quality, patient and family-centered care in a virtual care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in autism and other behavioral health and developmental disorders. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving pediatric health outcomes, and eager to learn and develop new skills using novel diagnostic approaches for autism via technology.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Complete additional training, certification and licensure to assist in providing excellent, evidence-based autism diagnostic assessments through a virtual medicine video platform
  • Utilize innovative technology solutions that assist in the clinical decision making process and provide feedback to ensure continuous quality improvement of both patient and physician experience
  • Work collaboratively with like-minded physicians and access consultations and support as needed
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education seminars to enhance and broaden your skill sets directly related to the As You Are mission
  • Thoughtfully guide families to the best therapeutic options with the aid of support staff and care coordinators to assist with non-clinical duties

Work Environment and Hazards

This position requires sitting for extended amounts of time with a majority of the tasks requiring typing at a computer station. This is a remote position. Remote employees will provide, at their expense, a secure, dedicated work area and are responsible for maintaining their work area in a safe, secure, and nonhazardous condition at all times

Physical Demands:

This position is mainly a stationary position involving sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • BC/BE in Pediatrics, Family Medicine or Developmental/Behavioral Pediatrics
  • Must be Licensed to practice in one of the following states: AL, FL, GA, KY, NJ, PA, OH, TX, VA, NY or CA
  • Virtual care experience preferred
  • Willingness to get licensed in additional states, with assistance, preferred

Care Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator who is compassionate and motivated to link children and their families to the appropriate interventions and resources that drive optimal health outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in autism and other behavioral and developmental disorders, along with strong interpersonal skills, compassion and empathy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Consult with families to conduct needs assessment, treatment initiation and reassessment services
  • Educate families about autism spectrum disorder and the treatment services provided in the U.S. (e.g., ABA, OT/PT, ST)
  • Develop an individualized plan of action that includes coordination with local treatment facilities and obtaining appointments
  • Monitor patient progress and ensure all needs have been met
  • Maintain documentation of all patient encounters and complete reporting requirements according to organization standards
  • Review treatment orders placed by physicians and assist in obtaining authorization for services
  • Attend ongoing training and courses to keep current of new developments
  • Comply with organizational guidelines and health care laws and regulations, maintain patient confidentiality
  • Collect feedback on the overall experience including the telemedicine visits with our providers
  • Collect feedback on treatment centers in the U.S.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • A deep understanding of the model for autism diagnostic and treatment services in the U.S., including the variety of treatment services provided to individuals with autism (e.g., ABA, OT/PT, ST)
  • Basic understanding of insurance policies and coverage with a willingness to expand on knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy
  • Highly organized and a strong ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads
  • Friendly, compassionate and empathetic
  • Ability to work with others and communicate in a remote working environment
  • Have access to sufficient high speed internet connectivity to conduct job functions

Clinical Supervisor, Psychologist

We’re searching for a Clinical Supervisor, Psychologist to join our team! The ideal candidate will deliver clinical supervision, professional oversight, and development to practicing clinicians providing developmental evaluations to patients ages 16 months to 10 years old via telehealth. This position will support evaluation of As You Are clinical services to enhance patient outcomes by optimizing clinical skills, psychological evaluation skills, and behavioral treatment plans of practicing clinicians.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and practicing clinicians, acting as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives and increase quality of patient care.
  • Participate in weekly group clinical staff meetings and have regular meetings with clinicians to review cases.
  • Conduct group seminars on various clinical topics for continued education surrounding autism and psychological evaluations.
  • Participate in training and development of new clinicians and work closely with the Chief Medical Officer to review the clinical performance of current physicians.
  • Experience conducting psychological evaluations and providing diagnostic services for children and adolescents.
  • Requires diagnostic experience with a wide range of childhood disorders, preferably significant experience diagnosing autism and other DSM-5 diagnoses for children, including but not limited to intellectual disability, ADHD, and anxiety disorders.
  • Knowledge of and experience with administration of a variety of standardized, psychometric tests. Experience with psychological assessments commonly used for evaluating autism is required, including but not limited to the ADOS-2, CARS-2, and ADI-R.
  • Experience with telehealth evaluations is preferred.
  • Clinical supervision experience with trainees is highly preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an emphasis on building and maintaining positive relationships with clinical staff.
  • Strong knowledge surrounding cultural competency in delivering psychological services to children from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
  • Confidence in clinical and problem-solving skills relative to arriving at conclusions from a diagnosis and recommending appropriate treatment.
  • Empathic quality in addressing the emotional needs of families and patients
  • Willingness to attend seminars and meetings about topics relevant to patient needs and the As You Are diagnostic paradigm
  • Adherence to professional, legal and ethical regulations, as required by relevant regulatory bodies and the law
  • Ability to motivate, encourage and portray an optimistic attitude

Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who will be responsible for providing diagnostic evaluations for patients to inform treatment recommendations. The SLP will assess children ages 16 months to 10 years old for potential speech and communication disorders and develop unique and comprehensive intervention recommendations. This role will partner with As You Are Pediatricians to provide comprehensive evaluation services for children and families.

Additional responsibilities include completing administrative tasks including documenting billing information, keeping accurate records of evaluations and associated patient notes, and working collaboratively with other clinical staff and service providers at As You Are to provide high quality care to patients.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: 

  • Administer speech and language evaluations
  • Develop comprehensive clinical reports depicting the results of the assessment for referring physicians, clinicians and patient families
  • Provide high quality clinical care, including accurate diagnoses, identifying areas of speech and communication challenges, and comprehensive intervention recommendations
  • Provide compassionate care and maintain good rapport with patient families
  • Develop detailed speech and language treatment goals and objectives
  • Determine Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) needs, strategies and systems for each individual client
  • Integrate AAC strategies and systems into screenings, assessments and treatment programs as applicable
  • Create necessary materials to support a variety of communicative needs
  • Other duties to be assigned as needed

Product Manager

As You Are is searching for a Product Manager who will oversee new development and optimization of the technology underlying the As You Are virtual clinic.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To: 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with stakeholders, providing them with product updates, addressing concerns, and gathering insights to inform product decisions.
  • Roadmap Planning: Update and communicate the product roadmap, balancing long-term vision with short-term objectives.
  • Prioritization & Backlog Management: Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, user feedback, and technical feasibility. Work closely with the technology development project manager to keep the product backlog organized and up-to-date.
  • Requirement Documentation: Write and clarify product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technology to ensure everyone is aligned with the product vision and goals. Provide technical marketing content, product positioning, and value propositions to cross-functional teams.
  • User Feedback & Research: Track both internal and external user satisfaction by collecting, analyzing, and incorporating feedback from users to help drive strategic alignment around the product cross-functionally. This can include assessing tickets from the patient support team and conducting user interviews with external and internal clinicians.
  • Review & QA: Participate in product reviews, demos, and quality assurance checks to ensure the final product meets the intended criteria.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay updated with market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to ensure the product remains competitive and relevant. Demonstrate business operation excellence in forecasting, planning, pricing, and ensuring high level product quality.
  • Metrics & Analysis: Monitor key product metrics to gauge product performance and make informed decisions. This might involve using tools like Google Analytics, Quicksight etc.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest methodologies, tools, and technologies in the product management domain. Participate in workshops, webinars, and conferences.
