Q: What is your connection to our mission?

A: I have worked in the field of autism for 15 years in a variety of settings from clinic based to the public school system. I see how autism touches every facet of a family’s life. As a Care Sidekick and a busy parent myself, I am grateful to help families navigate the many components after receiving a diagnosis and hope to help lighten their load in any way I can. I have been fortunate to connect with many families here at As You Are and hope to help many more.

Q: Why do you love helping children?

A: I love helping families therefore children connect with services so they can focus on what is important.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I love exploring and going on adventures with my son, spending time outdoors and gardening especially houseplants. I currently have about 50 plants in my home!

Q: What (or who) inspires you?

A: My family inspires me.

Q: Tell us about your family. Any children? What about pets?

A: I am married with one son, Max. We love animals so we also have three dogs and three cats.
