Q: What is your connection to our mission?

A: I have experience in various realms of the mental health field and have first-hand experience with long waitlists and wait times for imperative services and evaluations. That frustration has fostered a passion in me for advocating for families and has made me so proud of the solution that As You Are provides!

Q: Why do you love helping children?

A: Children are the future! I believe discovering the beautiful nuances in every child makes the world a better place.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: I love staying active, being outdoors and traveling! Anything involving a body of water, I am there!

Q: What (or who) inspires you?

A: I’d have to say my parents. They have overcome every obstacle in their lives with grace and persistence. And have been married 40 years! Talk about inspirational!

Q: Tell us about your family. Any children? What about pets?

A: I have a wonderful partner, Marco and we have 2 fur babies! A crazy smart Border Collie named Remi and a spunky Golden Retriever named Daisy! They make our world go ’round!
