Patrick J. and Colleen McGuire

Patrick and Colleen are from Northeast Ohio have been married for 10 years. They have two kids, Maeve, who is neurotypical, and Owen, who was diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum in September 2019 at the age of three. He attends The Rich Center for Autism at Youngstown State University and will be entering Primary/Kindergarten this year. He loves to sing, draw, and climb trees! Patrick is the GM of his family-owned company, MVI HomeCare and HospiceCare and Colleen is a licensed elementary teacher, but has been a stay-at-home-mom since Owen was born. They are joining the Parent Advocacy Team because they are passionate about timely and appropriate evaluations and support which allows parents and caregivers the ability to have access to world-class professionals, no matter the location or situation. The McGuires also love the support that families receive after diagnosis, and say that’s been a missing piece of the puzzle for families.
