Q: What is your connection to our mission?

A: Being a pediatrician for over 20 years has allowed me to witness firsthand how difficult it can be for families to take on the many obstacles that comes with the uncertainty of a possible diagnosis of autism or other neuro-developmental differences. With this position, I am excited to assist them in this journey and am honored to be able to help them in this capacity.

Q: Why do you love helping children?

A: Children are so phenomenal and resilient. I love their unique outlook on the world, and they have honestly taught me how to be a better human.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: My favorite thing to do is to find a cool quiet spot and get lost in a wonderful story. I love traveling and am excited to see more of the world with my family.

Q: What (or who) inspires you?

A: My children inspire me. Every day they allow me to see the world through their eyes and want to do what I can to make it a better place.

Q: Tell us about your family. Any children? What about pets?

A: I love spending time with my husband and 2 children. I have a close-knit extended family and we are originally from West Africa. We do not have any pets, but my kids are working us to get them a dog.
