Q: What is your connection to our mission?
A: I believe that every child deserves to have all the nourishment and support he or she needs to reach his or her full potential in life.
Q: Why do you love helping children?
A: As Whitney Houston famously sang: “I believe children are our future / Teach them and let them lead the way / Show them all the beauty they possess inside / Give them a sense of pride to make it easier / Let the children’s laughter remind us how we used to be.”
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I enjoy landscape photography, travel, and pickleball, but my favorite activity is running around with my 4 year old son.
Q: What (or who) inspires you?
A: My father is a pediatrician and I had the privilege of watching him work tirelessly to eradicate the burden of disease on children while forging great relationships with the families he cared for.
Q: Tell us about your family. Any children? What about pets?
A: My wife and I are native New Yorkers who moved down to Charleston, South Carolina. We have a 4 year old son together. We have no pets, unless you count the alligator who lives in the pond down the block!
