Dr. Alanna Albano

Pediatrician

Dr. Alanna Albano is board-certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and has been a pediatrician for over eight years. In her most recent previous work, Dr. Albanno worked as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at Ohio State University College of Medicine and as a Pediatric Urgent Care Physician at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She completed her graduate degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI.

Get to Know Dr. Alanna Albano

Q: What is your connection to our mission?

A: I have family members with autism so I’ve had personal experience while growing up. I’ve also done volunteer work and have previously worked with children and adolescents with various developmental disabilities , which I very much enjoyed.

Q: Why do you love helping children?

A: They are so precious and fun to work with! I really appreciate how they view the world around us compared to adults.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Collecting various items (miniatures, stamps, cookbooks); baking; reading

Q: What (or who) inspires you?

A: My close family and friends inspire me to continually work towards being the best person that I can be. Taking care of my patients inspires me to strive towards becoming the best physician I can be.

Q: Tell us about your family. Any children? What about pets?

A: I have a furbaby – my dog Sammie, a female golden retriever.

 

Dr. Alanna Albano is licensed and can see families for autism evaluations in Alabama, Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Vermont and Washington state.
