Sales Development Representative

SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE, Remote

Reports to: Chief Growth Officer

 JOB SCOPE

As You Are is seeking a high-energy, mission-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support the growth of CARE Hub and our national database of referring provider partnerships. This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing relationships with pediatricians, therapists, ABA providers, school partners, and other referral sources who can benefit from participation in CARE Hub or partnering with As You Are. The SDR is the first line of connection between As You Are and prospective partners. You will combine strategic outreach, relationship-building, and operational excellence to build a strong pipeline of qualified partners and set the Growth team up for successful expansion. This role requires strong communication skills, comfort with outbound outreach, CRM discipline, and the ability to represent a mission-driven pediatric healthcare organization with professionalism and credibility.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Drive growth of CARE Hub through strategic provider outreach and qualification
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified referring provider partners
  • Increase awareness of As You Are’s autism diagnostic and care coordination model
  • Support regional expansion and payer-aligned growth strategies

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 PROVIDER OUTREACH & PIPELINE DEVELOPMENT

  • Identify and research prospective referral partners across targeted markets and states
  • Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Qualify prospects based on referral potential, alignment, and geographic need
  • Schedule introductory meetings between qualified prospects and Growth leadership
  • Maintain a consistent cadence of communication with prospective accounts

 

CARE HUB PARTNER ACQUISITION

  • Educate providers on CARE Hub functionality and partnership benefits
  • Clearly communicate value propositions, including referral tracking and care coordination support
  • Identify providers interested in premium or early partnership tiers
  • Support onboarding coordination with internal teams

 

CRM & REPORTING

  • Maintain accurate documentation in HubSpot (or designated CRM)
  • Track activity metrics including outreach volume, meetings booked, and pipeline progression
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on performance and partner trends
  • Offer feedback on market response and messaging effectiveness

  

STRATEGIC SUPPORT

  • Assist with conference preparation and follow-up outreach
  • Represent As You Are at select events or industry meetings (as needed)
  • Contribute ideas to improve outreach scripts, messaging, and lead qualification processes
  • Support the refinement of the CARE Hub provider acquisition playbook

 

DAILY & MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute daily outbound outreach goals (calls, emails, LinkedIn touches)
  • Maintain active prospect pipeline stages in CRM
  • Book qualified meetings for Growth leadership
  • Monitor provider activity and engagement
  • Participate in weekly pipeline review meetings
  • Track and report KPIs including:
    • Meetings set
    • Qualified partners added to pipeline
    • Conversion to signed partnership
    • Referral activation trends

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong understanding of sales development processes and pipeline management
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to confidently speak with physicians, clinical directors, and healthcare operators
  • Comfort with cold outreach and objection handling
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Technologically savvy; experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort tracking metrics and performance goals
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales development, business development, or healthcare outreach
  • Experience working in healthcare, health technology, pediatric services, or referral-based models preferred
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales agreement execution quotas
  • U.S.-based and authorized to work in the United States

 Preferred:

  • Experience working with pediatricians, behavioral health providers, or therapy networks
  • Familiarity with autism services (ABA Therapy, Early Intervention Services, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy)
  • Experience supporting conference or field-based outreach

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary: $60,000–$65,000 annually
  • Commission: Performance-based commission tied sales volume in activated CARE Hub partner contracts

WORK ENVIRONMENTS AND HAZARDS

This position requires sitting for an extended amount of time with a majority of the tasks requiring typing at a computer station or speaking on the phone. Employees will provide, at their expense, a secure, dedicated work area and are responsible for maintaining their work area in a safe, secure, and nonhazardous condition at all times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is mainly a stationary position involving sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. May require lifting up to 20 pounds.

We work with commercial insurance plans, TRICARE, traditional state Medicaid plans and managed care partners. We are constantly expanding our relationships as we grow. And, as a part of our process, our support team will review a child’s insurance benefits with their parent or guardian before the first appointment.
