Dr. Patricia Walters is a board-certified with pediatrician with over 10 years of experience treating children, and currently provides autism evaluations for kids at As You Are. She completed her graduate degree from the University of San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca and completed her residency at Elmhurst Hospital Center, New York. Dr. Patricia Walters is licensed to see families for autism evaluations in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
A: Early diagnosis of autism has proven to lead to a more positive outcome and greater success for functional independent living. For young children with autism this means that they can be introduced to therapies earlier and the skills needed to reach their full potential are taught early and the impact of intervention is much more comprehensive.
A: Working with children reminds me of how amazing the world can be. I see this opportunity as a way to make an impact in children and their families.

We work with commercial insurance plans, TRICARE, traditional state Medicaid plans and managed care partners. We are constantly expanding our relationships as we grow. And, as a part of our process, our support team will review a child’s insurance benefits with their parent or guardian before the first appointment.
