Q: What is your connection to our mission?
A: Part of my role as a pediatrician is to always be an advocate for children for both their physical and social/emotional welfare. I have worked in underserved communities before and would work to find creative solutions to bridging care gaps so that all children have access to the support and help that they need. It is definitely a team effort and I’m so glad to be a part of the team.
Q: Why do you love helping children?
A: Children never cease to amaze me. They observe the world in such a unique way. We can learn so much from them if we take the time to listen
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Running. I’m currently training for a marathon. I also enjoy baking and I am attempting to get back into playing piano.
Q: What (or who) inspires you?
A: I find inspiration in the runner who finishes last. Life is not about being the best or coming in first. Fulfillment comes from working hard and not giving up.
Q: Tell us about your family. Any children? What about pets?
A: My husband is an architect and we have two children, one boy and one girl. We also have a dog who we adopted from a shelter. We all enjoy spending time outside and going on walks.
